Was skeptical, but I’m so glad I purchased. I love these products.
Tea is a must in our house, especially bedtime teas. This tea is up there with the best of them.We go through a lot of tea in our house and are always on the lookout for a good nighttime tea. This tea fit the bill perfectly. To start, anything with lemon and lavender is good with me. My wife likes her tea plain with the teabag out after steeping, and my son likes to leave his teabag in. Both of them had no complaints whatsoever. So, no matter how you take your tea, this tea will taste good. It's a perfect bedtime tea and we highly recommend it.
This is a pleasant and obviously high-quality blended herbal tea, but the flavor of lavender overpowers most of the others and is too strong for my liking. Packed in a pouch, the pyramidal bags are visibly packed with high-quality blended herbal ingredients, showing appealingly as large chunks rather than little minced bits. For a "bedtime" tea there's less valerian than I might like — it's not apparent to the taste or smell, which if you've smelled it you know it usually is — and not all that much mint, either. I like the earthy herbal flavor underlying it, but when steeped long enough to brew dark, it's almost overpoweringly lavendery and not as enjoyable as I'd hoped. While it's clearly high-quality, I wouldn't order this blend again.
I do have stress from work. I cannot sleep at night especially on Sunday night. I regularly take melatonin but it has side effect of getting early dementia. So I stopped taking melatonin and I struggled with falling asleep. I know some natural teas are available out there but I had to wake up to go to bathroom. Because I had tea... and water.. that still bothered my sleep.HOWEVER, this tea, I do not wake up in the middle of the night to go to bathroom. Even a small cup of half of an usual cup, it put you to the bed. I slept whole through the night continuously. It contains "Fennel, Lemon balm, Rosehip, Anise, Spearmint, Lavender flowers, Valerian".All Organic. and It is coming from Germany.Based on my quick research, "Valerian" is used mainly for insomnia.I am so grateful that I found this tea I am going to buy more.
I was pleasantly surprised by this tea! I was a bit put off by it at first because, to be perfectly honest, it smells like a hippie shop. It actually has a pleasant, earthy floral taste that grew on me after the first few sips. I'm not sure if it actually worked as intended, if it was having any herbal tea before bed, or if it was just the placebo effect, but I actually found myself getting extremely sleepy after drinking it and I slept soundly through the night. While I like this tea, I have mixed feelings on the tea bags. They are a triangular shape that allows easy dunking of the tea. It's fantastic compared to the paper bags that tend to float on the top of your mug! My only complaint is that, while they are made out of a biodegradable fabric, I'm not confident that they'll break down in my compost pile.Overall, I'm giving this five stars for a great, high quality tea! In the future, I hope that the company offers loose leaf tea or compostable bags.
